PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Before Your Appointment

 Eat a light meal 1–2 hours before your drip

 Stay well hydrated

 Wear loose, comfortable clothing

 Bring a list of your current medications and supplements


Avoid Before Treatment

✘ Alcohol for 12 hours

✘ Strenuous exercise for 6 hours

✘ Taking aspirin or NSAIDs unless medically needed

✘ Large volumes of caffeine on the day


Important to Inform the Doctor If You Have:

• Kidney or liver conditions

• Heart conditions

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding

• Blood pressure concerns

• Recent illness, vomiting, or diarrhoea

• Any allergies


POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

After Your Drip

Continue drinking water

 Resume normal activities unless otherwise advised

 Remove plaster after 30 minutes


Normal Temporary Side Effects

• Bruising at insertion site

• Slight tenderness

• Feeling cold during the drip

• Metallic taste


Avoid

✘ Heavy exercise for 2–3 hours

  • Avoid harsh shampoos or scalp exfoliators.

FIRST 48–72 HOURS

  • Use only gentle shampoos (no medicated or clarifying shampoos unless prescribed).
  • Avoid scratching or picking at dry skin or flaking.
  • Avoid swimming (chlorine + bacteria risk).
  • Avoid heat-styling tools on high heat.


WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Redness

  • Itching

  • Temporary “shedding” (shock loss)

These typically resolve within 24–72 hours.


POST-CARE BY TREATMENT

 PRP / PRF

  • Slight tenderness or pressure is normal.
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory medication for 72 hours—PRP relies on natural inflammation.
  • Increase water intake to support healing.


 Hair Filler

  • Small lumps or mild bumps may be felt for 24–48 hours.
  • Avoid pressure on the injection sites (e.g., massage, tight caps).
  • Do not wash hair for 24 hours.

  • Avoid washing hair for 24 hours.
  • Use only the products recommended with the treatment plan.
  • Mild serum residue is normal.


 Microneedling with Hair Growth Serum

  • Expect mild flaking or dryness for 1–2 days.
  • Do not pick or scratch the scalp.
  • Avoid heavy hair products during healing.
